'86 760 shocks... same between a wagon and sedan? 700

the nivromats (or however they are spelled) are shot on my '86 760 wagon i've got a line on some still good ones from a guy that has a sedan... are they the same or differnt?... i don't want spend the $500 to replace them... or bother having to replace my springs to use "normal" shocks unless i have to
