Is $3500.00 to much for '88 240? 200

I am thinking about buying an '88 240 from a volvo shop for 3500. The guy will not go any lower than that. He said that the car has been maintained by them for the last eight years. The car runs and drives great and has 153000
miles. Some of the interior trim is missing , a small hole is in the shotgun seat
and the carpet will have to be replaced. The body is in excellent shape.
Is this worth the money?
