I've covered all the other bases, even bought IPD's pressure bleeder and there is no air and are no leaks in my clutch hydraulics. It looks like I'm losing a bit of travel at the clutch pedal connection point to it's master cylinder. There is a good half inch of slop in the pedal that I'm thinking would give me enough travel at the release arm to fully disengage the clutch.
Anyone ever experience this? Short of a new pedal (don't know the cost yet) I'm thinking of removing the pedal, drilling out the worn holes,making up two metal bushings to fit in their place and see what happens.
The system holds pressure, I'm not losing fluid and while this wasn't a problem before replacing the clutch & PP, I suspect the added thickness of the new parts requires full travel I'm not getting.
Looking for anyone who's been down this road. Roylak tells me he replaced his pedal with an older metal unit. When did they go plastic?
Help. I really miss this car and am tired of driving my 855t.
