Automatic Radio Areal 700 1989

Guys,
The automatic radio areal stopped working. I am turning the radio on, but the areal does not move. It stays expanded. It can be moved up and down by hand.
The electic motor is turning, but seems like the trasmission to the areal is gone.
Where do I start debugging ?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
