Where is my factory amp? 90 740 Turbo Wagon 700 1990

Installing an aftermarket stereo. When I removed the TD-6141 factory stereo, there's a DIN style cable heading off into the dash. I know I need to bypass the factory amp to get my speaker connections, but before I go tearing through the mass of stuff in my dash, can someone point me in the right spot?? Where is this mysterious factory amp? Has anyone else done this bypass? Thanks to look out for?
