which year is the best 960 900

Ladies & Gentlemen,
I'm considering a 960 sedan/wagon as my next car and would appreciate some advice.Which model would you consider the best of the lot ? Would it be the 1997 because it has SIPS ? Is there any advantage to the sedan rather than the wagon ? What about an earlier model ? Any and all information would be appreciated.
