I bought my 240 DL several weeks ago and was faced with the heaterblower only working on 4th spped. So I consulted the board to find that it was probably a burnt resistor. However as I dropped off my sweet wife the other day she closed the passenger door firmly and the blower (set on pos 2) came on. So I checked and it now functions in all 4 speeds. So for a small fee my sweetie will close your passenger door in a firm manner and save you the trouble of changing resistors. FWIW
