Should I salvage this tranny? 1800 1967

Found a '67 p1800 in the pick-a-part today, has manual tranny, and I assume overdrive, and those are the only good things I can see about it. Rusted almost in half. Should I give them $125 for the tranny and bellhousing, if only for posterity? I'm in West Suburban Chicago.
