Windshield Wipers & Speaker short? 200 1992

Got my car back from the shop today and noticed that every time the driver side windshield wiper gest close to the driver side speaker the speaker pops or shorts out.......

Never happened before? Did something get wet? Any sugggestions????

Why would the windshield wiper getting closer to the speaker make this reaction?

Thanks for any info .
