Bought used Speedometer need to change miles to read my current mileage 200 1989

Is there any way to correct the odometer to read my correct mileage on my replacement Speedometer. The replacement one has more mileage than is currently on my vehicle. I have the K9800... Has anyone done this before?? Thank you in advance.
