is there a PS filter on my car? anyone use magnets on oil filter? 200 1981

Just did a tuneup, new filters/fluids for everything except PS (topped off). Is there a filter I need to change? I read on Swedish Bricks that some guys have hung a magnet by wire into the reservoir and picked up all kinds of gunk. The magnet came up clean after 3-4 days. What do you think? Would you leave it in there while driving??

What do you think about those oil filter magnets/magnetic drain plugs on IPD? Sound like older cars w/ unknown maintenance could benefit.
