Hey all;
The brick is at it again... I went to get a froster tonight and when i went to start it the old girl just wouldn't catch... strong cranking, lots of fuel... it's an intermittent starting problem... I took off the plug wire on the coil, wiped it... still nothing... Took off wire at the cap, wiped it... go figure .. it starts!
Couple days ago it died, had it towed, friendly mech said it was badly flooded, cleaned the plugs, recommended I replace them, which i did... sprayed some WD40 to dry it up (We've had a rainy fall in Ontario) she started great, but now the problem is back...
Does it sound like time for a new cap/rotor/ and wires?
Any shade tree tests I can do to determine the state of my ignition wires? (They *look* fine to me)
Canadian tire has wires 20% off... 27 bucks CDN for mine... maybe i should splurge...
