Check Engine light//thanks, Brickboarders! 200

Hi,

Thanks for all the responses to my query about the Check Engine light being on. The link to the codes is fantastic.

Well, it was so simple even I could figure it out, though in a way i screwed it up. I got a 1-1-3 code, which seems to translate to fuel trim too lean or too rich. This is odd, because it is running fine and seems to be getting OK mileage.

After the 1-1-3, it gave me another code, which of course I forgot to write down. I did check it and noticed it was another code dealing with fuel trim, but I can't recall if it was at idle or "part load," whatever that means.

Also, I did manage to reset the OBD so that the idiot light is off.

Just a couple more quick questions:

--Since the car's performance seems fine, is there really any need to do anything about this? And if so, what?

---Will the idiot light stay off even if the problem worsens, since I reset it without taking any corrective measures?

The symptoms listed for this are various driving problems and engine stops when starting from cold. I am noticing no problems whatsover.

Thanks for all prior help...mike
