Hello all.
Here is the deal. I got a set of Hella 500 mounting lights that i took off my 88 245 before i sold it. I want to mount these on my 92 745t. On top of the bumper. I seem to have difficulties in accessing the inside of the bumper. ( I was going to drill into the top of the bumper). IS there another way to mount these on top of the bumper without drilling? Like some heavy duty double sided sticky icky tape outthere. Also i guess this tape would have to withstand outdoor weather elements and also an occasional "bump".
I guess i would much rather just drill into the bumper. Anyone else outhere ran into this problem? Also I know i am suppose to get power from the battery but what about the other source? What i mean is on my 88 245 i just ran the wires thru the firewall and then i connected the one wire to my rear tailight fuse which had a spade connector on the side of the fuse holder. And the fuses were at a convenient location But with the fuses being in the ashtray, how can i get power from there? Thanks for all your help.
