I've got a 1991 240, which we replaced the engine in during the summer. The replacement engine had only 19000km on it but had been sitting in a junkyard for 10years(Same engine B230). Shortly after replacing the engine would have trouble starting, but only if it had been between 30minutes - ~4 hours since last run. You would have to give it gas to get it to start and to keep it running, then it runs fine. If it had been sitting for very short or very long periods of time it starts great. You can always get it to start fortunately, lately it has to turn over for 10-15 seconds before it starts, and will ocasionaly run very rough well idling shortly after(Stopped for light, etc.)
I hear the Control Pressure Regulator can often be the cause of poor/non-starts. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanx.
