Temp sender wire 200 1980

There's a wire from the temperature sender in the cyliner head (driver's side) - one end of the wire is connected to the sender, can someone tell me where the other end connects to? Mine disintegrated before I could see where it connects and I haven't found a description or picture yet - Thanks!
