Last night I re-built the driver's seat in the recently purchased 1983 244. I used 0.032" aviation stainless steel safety wire to replace the long since degraded jute and poly fiber string which connects the cross wires for the seat bottom support. In the first picture it is a little hard to the safety wire, but the second picture shows it well on the center of the seat bottom support. I also put a slight bned on the front of the side wire to keep the front springs from sliding off of them.
