dash lights are blinking 700 1986

Message center "idiot lights", just started to blink on and off yesterday. No funny noises and no obvious problems with running. Does idle a little rough now but not that bad. Seems to have all the power and started fine. wondering if this is a "take to dealer" or "fix at home" problem.
