So I just recently replaced my rear end and ever since that was done, the speedometer and the odometer haven't really been working.
Problem 1: The speedometer will read nothing more than about 18 MPH once i've gotten to speeds of anywhere between 20 and somethings much faster which i can't really tell because i don't have a working speedometer (LOL).
Problem 2: The odometer, it works but like the speedometer, not really. at first i thought i was just getting really bad mileage, but then i took it onto the highway and using the mile markers on the side of the road and a couple mathmatical formulas, figured out that for every 3.8 miles I travel, only 1 mile registers on the odometer.
the odometer isn't anywhere near as big an issue as the speedometer, i would really like to know how fast i'm going because cops in my town would pull over their own mothers, and they will get you if you're going just a few miles over and that's not something i really wanna deal with. thanks!
