Air conditioning compressor swap. 200

Hi,

I own an 82 244 GLE, It is currently running an old piston type air con compressor that has seazed. I was wondering if there is anyone who knows about swapping the piston type compressor to the late yoke typr compressor. Would it be possible to swap the compressors without changing the entire air-con system?? Or will I have to update the entire system??
