A/T MAITENANCE 200

Hey guys I am new to the brickboard community.
I am a proud owner of a 1978 262c Bertone. I have been driving this car for about 6 months. The car has been cherished from the pervious owner and I plan to keep it in the same shape. Since I bought the car I have noticed that the tranny at the morning kicks and I suppose the Transmission needs a little clean up. I have heard very good comments from people that have used RedLine Racing oil. I have done my homework and found the correct type to use and I have it ready. It was quite expensive for the synthetic oil ($80 bucks). But I suppose its quite a cheaper investment than replacing a tranny in the future. Well, I was wondering if you guys have any tips on to what to replace like filters, screens ect. If anyone has schematic diagrams or repair books it would be great if someone can email me some scanned pgs to get started on this weekend project. I am a bit confused if the auto-matic transmission has an internal or external filter or perhaps both? If I can get a little insight as to where they are located would be great.
Thanks.
Abel
