Hi everyone

I've been doing my own oil changes now. Previously at the local dealer it seems they always change the drain bolt copper washer and the oil filler cap gasket religously with every oil change. Is this really necessary? Even the new XC I see that they're replacing it. I'm still using the same gasket and washer for the past 4 oil changes. How long do they actually last though?
