240 / 940 Mirror interchange 900 1994

Hi everyone ---

I recently picked up a set of mirrors from a 1986 245 (I like the blue tint that those mirrors had, like many other late 240's). I want to install them in my 1994 944, just the mirror glass only. But I have noticed that they attach different ways. The 240 had that simple design where you slide a screwdriver in and "twist" off the clamp for the mirror glass. The 940 I have (1994) seems different. I don't know how to remove the mirror glass from my '94 944. Anyone have any experience on this? Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
