Hah, this post is pretty much useless... But I'm excited because on Thanksgiving, I was down in Salem, so I paid a visit to my baby. Opened the hood, put the batter cables back on, hopped in, turned it over, and then again, and some more, and paused for a bit. Then turned it over again, and again, and pop pop pop, vrooom!!! Back to life! I love this thing. Well, after letting it warm up for 5 min, with me sitting inside it with the heat on, (it was only like 35 degrees outside), it got nice and cozy and runnin smooth. So, ignoring the law, and my dad's recomendations, (i'm suprised he didn't actually run out and stop me..), I left the carport, and drove my fine automobile around the block a couple times. Good stuff for sure. But that wasn't enough, so naughty ole' me goes and takes it out for a drive! Oh it was lovely, same old smell, same old sound, nice and slow with all of my collected spares/junk inside it and the trunk. And then I started to hear the noise in the gearbox, reminding me of one of the reasons for it being parked... (the tranny fluid had warmed up, and was now allowing peices of first gear clunk around) So i brought it back, turned it off, disconnected the battery, and said my goodbyes, until next time, during my winter break... CAN'T WAIT!!! :<)

WELL, if you don't feel satisfied, here's a question:
Can a good condition m40 box be connected to a good condition overdrive? Cause, as most of you know, my tranny is wanting some help... Anyway, I have sourced a broken m41, but with a good overdrive(courtesy of a very nice man, who goes by the name of bridgetown142 on here, lol) and have been offered a good condition m40 from another person. So what can I do with these three 'boxes to make a good overdrive tranny??? :-) BTW, this will be one of my projects for next summer...
