BW 35 linkage

I have a BW 35 on my '67 122. There is a short (~5 in.) ball link arm connecting the transmission shift arm to the vertical steering column linkage arm. The nylon/delrin/etc. socket on one end recently disintegrated. Is this part available anywhere and if not, can someone offer a suggestion for repairing it? Thanks very much.
