230F single cam to Dual cam conversion/Help 200 1985

This message is for anybody that has made a conversion on a 230F engine.
I bought a 1986 240GL at the junk yard for $250.00 clean car Interior near perfect no rust needs tires. This car is for my son. He want to put a dual cam head off a 740 on this 230F engine. Will this conversion work. The 740 has the dist. on the back of the head. I should be able to get a plug for the dist. hole, but will it work. The spark plugs go in the top of the head of the 740. will I also need the exhaust off the 740 and what else do I need. Will this head bolt up to the 230F.Any help is wanted for this conversion.
