OD Relay dash light won't go out, tried another switch is it the relay??? Please help!! 700

Hello folks!

Does anyone know the whereabouts of the OD relay? I have a 1988 740 8 valve non-turbo with a AW-70 A.T. My arrow light o nthe dash won't go out. However every time I activate the push button on the shifter I dims just a bit and I hear a slight clicking sound. Otherwise the tranny refuses to shift into 4th gear. However if I keep playing with the shifter button the tranny will sometimes go back to normal. I have used other switches and again the light does not go out! So now I am thinking might it be the relay? Does anyone know where the relay is, and also what removal/installation issues should one be aware of. Please help, this problem is eating up my gasoline, in addition to racing my motor 4500 plus rpm's! The vehicle currently has 400,100 miles on it, and yes it has all of the original mechanicals!
