How big a job is a clutch replacement? 88 744ti/m46 700 1988

Hi gang-

The car I'm looking at purchasing needs a clutch. The seller offered to do it for $225, disk only.

How big a job is this? I'm no stranger to serious rip-n-tear mechanicals, but then again, if it would take most of a day, and the seller's basically charging $150 for his labor, it almost seems like I'm better off letting him deal with it.

Many thanks for any reply.
