Front Brakes for a 1975 164E ??? 140-160 1975

Hi. I'm planning a brake system overhaul on a '75 164 that I recently acquired. But I'm rather confused by which parts are suitable for my project (i.e., replacing rotors, calipers and the flexible brake lines) for the front (the rears seem to be standard 240 ATE parts). Of course, I'd really like to upgrade -- e.g., larger than stock calipers (swept area), Ate PowerDisk rotors, etc., but at this point I'd settle for OEM.

Between the Volvo-published "Quick Reference Parts Catalog" (QRPC), and from discussions in earlier postings on this list, there seems to be a difference in opinion on what will correctly fit on my car. For example:
1) Regarding front rotors, the QRPC says that the front rotors (# 270735-4) covers '72 to '75 years.
2) Regarding the calipers, the QRPC says that my front calipers are Girling, and are (R/L#s 5002019-7 and 5002018-9), as the rotors, the same for 1972 to 1975.

Yet (and this is the question) I have read that the rotors on the '75 (vented, by the way) are different than from earlier models, as are the calipers (something about the threads of the brake lines being different in 1975 than in earlier calipers).

I'd really welcome some comment and advice on this, before I go trying to purchase these parts. Perhaps I misread something? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, all.
