Is it possible to put a sedan style dome light in a wagon? 200 1980

Well, having broken YET ANOTHER one of those flimsy plastic dome light switches on my 1980 245 DL, I now wonder if the light fixture from a sedan would work. I have a '77 244 with the rotating switch dome light, and if I could put something like that in my wagon, I'd be ecstatic.

If this swap isn't possible, I guess I'll just replace this thing again, but next time I'll add some lubrication to the ball-bearing on the end of the switch or something!

As for right now, I'll be swapping the front dome light fixture with the rear one AGAIN!
