Squeaky clutch 700

My clutch is squeaking on both depress and release, but otherwise works flawlessly. The sound comes from the pedals, but can be heard, quite loudly, from the outside too. I've read from similar posts that the clutch cable needs lubrication. Do I have one? Where do I find it?

The car is an 85' 740 GL 5 speed manual.
