240 Cruise Control 200

Silly to be concerned about, but here goes.
I just wrecked my 940 wagon (it'll be back in service before we finish eating the venison), so my trusty '84 240 turbo spare car is going to be put into back and forth to work service for a while. I drive 54 miles one way to work, so cruise is a big deal to me. When it has been sitting for a good while in the past, I had to fiddle with the 'set' button a number of times and apparently bad connections in the turn signal arm 'fix' themselves. Not this time. My vacuum connections all seem to be ok, and I bypassed the vacuum switch on the brake pedal to test that. With only 273k on the clock, I can't believe the cruise would die this soon! Power antenna on the car makes my 940 wagon glass antenna jealous.
Thanks,
Mark
