Clutch experts, what do these numbers on the PP refer to? 700 1988

I yanked the transmission out this morning (it only took 1 1/2 hours this time!) looking for the reason my new Sachs clutch won't disengage completly. Comparing the new pressure plate with the old here are the numbers I recorded:

Old:
"Volvo" & "Sachs" stamped into the housing,
04 3082 204 403
3520 553 - P01 4^ 24.98

(after the 4 there is a triangle, pointing down. I used the up arrow here"
TYP M228

New:
"Sachs"
3082 204 033
2^ 39.0 (39.2)

(again, after the 2 is a down facing triangle)
TYP M228

The box the new clutch kit came in has this info:

K70030-01
Clutch Kit Assembly
Part# 9143474 Kit

The clutch discs are identical, the newer being 1mm thicker. Any chance this is the wrong kit and the PP requires more lift or pressure to unclamp completely?

Can't see any other difference. The release bearing is identical and I'll check the new and old release arm more carefully this evening.

I'd call Groton to double check on the kit application but they're closed today.

BTW, I've also replaced the slave cylinder, the master tests good and the system has been pressure bled thoroughly.

Thanks,
