Wiper parking switch in need of surgery 700

My wipers have started parking half way up the windshield. Very annoying!

I assume there is a parking switch in the wiper motor unit and that is has gone bad or lost adjustment somehow.

Does anyone have any expecience regarding this? Is there such a switch and is it repairable or adjustable?
