240 rust

I have a 1990 760 turbo wagon that's lived in Indiana it's entire life and has no evidence of body rust at all. Only the aluminum rear gate is corroded. These cars seem preety well protected from rust. Are the later model 240 series cars as resistant? I'm considering buying a 240 and wondering if they stand up as well as the 700 series.
