any suggestions would be helpful:

B230F '86 - Car starts but idles extremely rough, must keep pumping accelorator to keep it running or else it stalls. Even with accelerator down, it knocks. Was going to get it towed and the tow truck guy tells me its the automatic choke. Any suggestions?

early symptom: very poor gas mileage - got 79 miles from 1/2 tank....
