I threw this out in the 700 forum, and I figured it'd be worth a shot here. I really want to learn to do some more of my own maintanence on my Volvo 87 745 GLE, and I live in the Fredericksburg, VA, area. I'm looking to spend some garage time with someone, maybe just holding wrenches or whatever, helping out in exchange for some help on belt changes, fuel filter, fluid changes, tune up, etc. stuff on my car. I can't pay in much other than time, and bringing over food (my mom was a real good caterer and has a restaurant and loads me down with goodies all the time) so if anyone out there is interested, I'd love to learn more about maintaining my own Volvo! I just want to learn to do as many things as possible to avoid exhorbitant labor fees a young entry-level worker like myself just cant afford.
