I am planning to replace rear brake pads on my 1990 240 Wagon. The pads are very thin, likely getting below 4 mm thickness. Otherwise, breaks seem to work fine. I have the pads, shims, and hardware kit. I have studied the Bentley's guide. I am not a mechanic, but reasonably competent and good with my hands. Is there anything to watch out for? (I do not have the special Volvo tools to check for and adjust the 20 degree angle of the piston.) Have read other posts about using anti-seize compound on back of pads, sliding surfaces, and also proper cleaning of components etc. Thanks for any tips!
