I have already posted a message regarding my '89 760 turbo but I realize it was not very detailed. It started with the blue light that surrounds the AC switch. One night on the way home from work, a 30 mile drive, it just started flashing and would not stop. It continued in this fashion the next day as I drove to work. It ran fine but when I got to work and did a u-turn to park it, it just died. It would not start but I was parked. During my lunch break I tried to start it and it did without any difficulty, I didn't drive it at this time but just turned it off. After work it started with ease and I started to drive. I noticed that the instument cluster warming lights were dimmly glowing and the AC switch light was still flashing. After about 1 mile I noticed that the headlights were getting dim and I could tell I was going to stall because it seemed to be loosing power. The car stalled and I coasted to the side of the road. I called a friend to come resue me. About a half an hour into waiting for my friend, I decided to try to start the car because I wanted to move it back about 10 feet so the engine compartment would be under the street light. It started fine and I was able to move it back. About five minutes later I tried to start it again and it would not for lack of power to the starter. When my friend arrived, we put a different battery in the car and it started right up. My friend followed me for the thirty miles it took to get home. Upon starting out on the trip home, I noticed that the speedometer was no longer working and that the warming lights dimmly glowed at times. All the other gauges continued to function. It was night so I was driving with the headlights on but I had turned off everything that I could. We made it home and I have not driven it since. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
