I'm thinking that I will be replacing my headlamp lenses on my volvo at some point as they are not in the best of shape. One is cracked and they both seem to leak water. In calling my dealer, I found them to be very expensive, actally $10 less then just buying european ones which I cant understand. Given this, the european ones seem very desirable at this point, however, I have heard that you can't use the chrome strip on top of the head lights on the euro lamps. Does anyone know if this is true? I also wonder how prone these glass lenses are to chipping and craking for that matter.
