AW71 or AW71 Lock-up? 200

I came across a cheap but good AW71 but also a AW71L. I’m planning to use it (with some modification’s) in combination with a B20 engine (in an older volvo).
Since I like low rpm’s should I go for the Lock-up version? How much difference in rpm’s will there be while driving on the higway?
And will the lock-up always be engaged once reached the stall-speed? Won’t it de-lock again when the throttle is fully pushed at that speed? I’m thinking that if it doesn’t de-lock, the B20 engine might be to low on torque.

Suggestions/Opinions?

Regards Ben Flierman
Ps. what is the normal stall-speed anyway?
