Chainsawing heater core worked great 200

Hey gang-

Yanked ye olde heater core out on Friday. Followed the chainsaw method and I'm pleased to say it went well.

I didn't have the sense to have my Dremel on hand, so I used my 3" die grinder for the easy stuff, and a close-quarters hacksaw for the rest. The plastic cut very easily with the hack. Found a good sized leak in the core, getting a new one today.

Time? Took an hour and a half to get it out, and that includes 15 minutes trying to find the blower fan clip:-)

I put the CD player in on Saturday, which also went well, and then tackled my wife's 744Ti stereo, which was a piece of cake. Busy, productive weekend, glad to be back at work where I can get some rest!
