Driveshaft diameter question 200 1978

I think at least one of my u-joints in my 78 245 has died. I've been looking replacements and am seeing joints for 1.75" and 2" driveshafts. I am awful at estimating diameters of things and do not have a caliper. Is there a standard size that was used in '78, or is it going to be another thing like with the steering rack where two different models were used at the same time?
