Merry Christmas Bricks one and all 200 1976

Hello everyone, just thought I'd log on and mention to everyone how much I've appreciated the information I find on the Brickboard. I started refurbishing my 1978 Volvo 245 DL in mid-summer. Rob F. from the Ottawa area was most kind in helping with carb and other problems. I essentially tuned the cleaned the car myself and had more experienced Bricksters help with replacing the timing belt, fuel pump and getting the brakes in shape. The car'd been sitting in a field for several years when I dragged it home to revive it. I was not certain that this was possible but I think the fact that the car is on the road and running well attests to Volvo quality and to the care taken by former owners.
This list has fascinated me since I started reading it daily these past six months and I continue to learn a lot about a marque I'd had scant dealings with. Needless to say, I am glad that I took the plunge and have become a confirmed Brickster.
I want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday and look forward to reading the daily posts.
Best wishes, Shannon in Ottawa aka Red Wagon www.slmannion.com)
1978 245 DL (unknown mileage)
