O2 Sensor Replacement on Rex/Regina 1990 740 700 1990

Happy Holidays to all:

I will soon be replacing the O2 sensor on my 1990 740GL. If I understand the FAQ's information, I cannot use a Bosch 3 wire O2 sensor. I need one specific to Rex/Regina. Is this correct?
