I salvaged a 510 ECU from an 84 in the PnP yard the other day. Don't really need it, but the price was right, and I'd heard that the 510 is in some small way superior to the 503 on our 83DL. (Really? How?)

Are there any potential compatibility issues with swapping this in? If it works OK but doesn't seem to improve anything, I'll probably pull it, revert to the original, and keep this as a spare or maybe sell it.
