Rough Riding Idle 200 1980

I have a B21F non-turbo engine. My idle speed has been running high (850 range, wherease normal is 700-800). I reduced the idle speed with the black screw under the intake manifold. Subsequently, the engine physically shakes at idle, somewhat violently I should add. The car smooths out when I pull the throttle. What's that about?
