more brake woes... help! 200

i still have been unable to free the pads from my front calipers, the little hairpins are rusted and just break when i try to pull them out so there is enough of them left to make removal of the larger pins problematic/impossible, on top of this everything is encrusted in a nice layer of rust, which seems to have locked everything up pretty nicely. this morning while trying again to free this garbage up i realized that the outer pistons on the drivers side caliper are frozen, that explains my spongy pedal somewhat and also means i need a new caliper. i dont want to by a new or rebuilt one, id prefer to grab one from a picknpull or something, but i need to know what other cars have the same front calipers as my 1984.5 245ti to make sure i get one that will fit. also, any more advice on how to deal with getting the pads out would be greatly appreciated, ive been drenching them with brake cleaner to no avail, anybody want to recomend a particularly potent solvent? any help as always is greatly appreciatted, i cant imagine what i would do without this board.
