front end repair nearly done; need to secure grill 200 1983

Our front end repair is nearly done on the 1983 GL. But the grill doesn't fit in tightly. My salvage parts included 2 headlight doors, each with 2 springs and 2 plastic retaining "screws" or whatever you'd call them. Should the top of the grill be secured in the same way? I only have two plastic "screws", and the top of the grill has two wedge-shaped pieces of metal (one on either side).
