Ignition Coils Sinking 42 amps! 900

(Sorry for the double post)
Been trying to work through a no-start for a week. When my ignition-switch is in the "run" position, the 2 coil-relay "fat wires" get blazing hot and each of my coils registers ~7 amps DC through the GRN/RED wire. Fuel-pump relay isn't getting proper turn-on voltage though I've jumpered across. The odds of both transistor packs or all six coils being faulty are pretty small so I'm left with the ECU. Am I forgetting anything? Other than checking the supply and various grounds, how do I realllly make sure the motronic is at fault?

Many Thanks,
Chad
